Arief Yahya, CEO at the company, confirmed the investment to local reporters, which is three times as much as this year’s budget of Rp 15 trillion.
The company is expected to use 20% of the funding for convergence projects, 30% to build transmission networks and the remaining 50% to broaden access across the country.
Telkom Indonesia has been investing in a number of markets and regions worldwide this year, including Silicon Valley and a potential stake in Spark New Zealand.
