The MMX service will be deployed in Olson’s virtual private cloud and will provide the mobile aggregator with virtualised technology to deliver SMS campaigns to enterprise and carrier subscribers on behalf of its mobile operators.
Olson has processed approximately two billion SMS messages in the past decade, and operates primarily in North America and Canada. The company claims it was one of the first companies in the region to be given access to multiple carrier networks. It now operates a virtual cloud infrastructure, and has struck the deal with Anam to upgrade its messaging gateway to ensure the development of new services.
“Being at the forefront of technical innovation and the latest strategies to enable our customers to meet their goals is what we strive for on a daily basis,” said Sukhmani Dev, VP Product & Technical Operations at Olson. “As we look to grow our business and offer additional services, we needed to look for a new messaging gateway that was able to support and facilitate our aims but provide the technical excellence and support that we, and our customers, come to expect.”
Anam’s MMX messaging gateway solution is designed to be highly configurable, and the company will provide additional services to Olson, including delivery receipts and anti-spam protection.
