Present Uninor CEO Morten Karlsen Sorby is stepping down due to illness in his immediate family and will assume a new role in the Telenor Group. He will remain as an advisor to Uninor until January 1 2015.
Sood previously served as CEO of Telenor’s Bangladesh subsidiary Grameenphone for approximately two years, and is replaced by Sethi, who presently serves as CMO at Uninor.
