The partnership will enable Telin to provide Akamai’s web performance, media delivery and cloud security solutions to its business customers in Indonesia.
“Through this partnership with Akamai, Telin will be able to increase the customer awareness of its CDN brand, Indonesia CDN Solution,” said Syrarif Syarial Ahmad, CEO at Telin.
“In addition, Telin will deliver the best alternative for all local content providers to reduce costs and provide an enhanced customer experience by accelerating access to the web.”
The Akamai solutions are designed to help Telin meet rising user demands for instant, reliable and secure access to online content, from any device, anywhere, and Ahmad said that this could also lead to content monetisation for internet providers.
“The partnership is a great way for both Akamai and Telin to bring new, innovative services to market and help companies better conduct business on the internet,” said Sanjay Singh, SVP, Asia Pacific and Japan, Akamai.
“Working together, we will be able to help Telin’s business customers deliver secure, high-performance experiences to their users across devices, in any location, taking their business to the next level.”
Akamai signed a cloud partnership with China Telecom’s cloud division in October this year.
