What do you hope to achieve from attending this year’s Metro Connect?
To remain closely connected with the business realities and opportunities in our market by collaborating closely with the industry’s movers and shakers. In this way, we can continuously update our product and services mix to insure our network solutions are tuned to meet the need.
What are your major priorities in the metro market in 2015?
Our number one priority for 2015 is to again increase the speed of network deployment – bringing design, engineering, procurement, test and turn up closer to cash for our clients. Secondly, we believe we can further lower the operational complexity of metro networks, thereby improving network support and reducing overall cost.
What trends do you expect to see in the metro market in 2015?
2015 promises to bring increased penetration of 100G coherent solutions into the metro, while network simplification – namely devolving from routed to switched packet-based network solutions – will empower many more participants to deliver carrier-grade packet services at better cost.
