The acquisition follows the agreed sale of Telefónica’s UK unit O2 to Hutchison Whampoa last week, and is expected to help the operator increase its presence in the digital services market.
Indra is a Spanish consulting and technology multinational with a strong presence in both Spain and Latin America.
Shares in Indra have increased 8% as a result of the acquisition.
