The move is aimed at serving enterprise within Indonesia and across the Middle East.
Through its subsidiary Telin, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia will use a PoP located in datamena’s date centre in the UAE to serve enterprises. The move is also aimed at supporting Indonesian expatriates living in the Middle East.
“Being present in the Middle East region is strategically important for Telin. Telin identifies datamena as the best place to seat our PoP for the Middle East region,” said Nyoto Priyono, VP at Telin.
Yesterday at Capacity Middle East 2015, datamena also announced that Telstra had launched a PoP at its facility.
