Miller brings over 30 years of management experience to the role, having formerly served as president and CEO of US small cell start-up JumpLinc, as well as founder and CEO of metro dark fibre provider Fiberlight.
During his tenure at Fiberlight, Miller oversaw a $600 million investment in metro rings in 23 markets, and is estimated to have overseen the construction of more than 11,000 route miles and 4.5 million miles of fibre throughout his entire career.
In his new role, Miller will be responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day business, increasing the company’s management depth and driving overall organisational growth.
“I am excited to bring my 30-years of management experience to Allied Fiber and help a successful company continue to grow,” said Miller. “Allied Fiber has a tremendous vision and plan to improve network infrastructure across the US, and I’m looking forward to playing an active role in its future development.”
Earlier this year, Allied Fiber entered into a 20 year agreement with Telefonica to provide the Spanish operator with dark fibre access in the US.
