Abrahams will focus on Superloop’s strategy to deliver fibre-optic networks in Singapore and Australia, in support of the company’s rapid expansion across Asia-Pacific.
Superloop founder Bevan Slattery will remain as executive chairman at the company, and said: “We are delighted to welcome Daniel to Superloop and look forward to his leadership and passion in executing on Superloop’s vision to become a leading service provider of connectivity services across the Asia Pacific region.”
Abrahams has a background in strategy and a business development, and has worked across a number of major infrastructure projects from concept to build.
“I am excited to join Superloop and to have the opportunity to work with Bevan, the team, and our valued customers and partners to accelerate the immense opportunities available to the company not only within Australia and Singapore, but the broader Asia Pacific region as well,” Abrahams said.
Megaport span off its fibre assets to create Superloop in October last year.
