The company’s lit fibre ring will connect at its new PoP located at 2323 Bryan Street and its existing One Marketplace PoP at 1950 North Stemmons Freeway.
The metro ring aims to address growing enterprise demand for cloud connectivity in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
The region is estimated to have over 10,000 business locations and 18 Fortune 100 corporate headquarters, and is an established internet and network peering exchange point.
“Customer demand for more competitively priced connectivity and lower latency in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro has fuelled Global Capacity’s network expansion,” said Ben Edmond, chief revenue officer at Global Capacity. “Global Capacity will continue to expand the One Marketplace footprint in ways that complement our existing customers and suppliers, while maintaining the highest level of interconnectedness for near-ubiquitous reach.”
