Cloud X Fusion is an ecosystem that works with Google Cloud interconnect to enable enterprises to move workloads with high-network performance and security, on a global scale.
“A successful cloud strategy is not just about choosing the right architecture and cloud provider, it’s about gaining the right access to your cloud services,” said Bill Barney, CEO at GCX.
“With our global infrastructure and direct connectivity in more than 90 countries, GCX provides mission-critical cloud connectivity from the developed markets of North America and Europe, to the emerging markets corridor, extending from the Middle East to Asia.”
Using Cloud X Fusion, enterprises can allegedly use Ethernet or MPLS VPN to connect their network resources to Google Cloud Interconnect, via GCX’s private network.
Cloud X Fusion provides this Google Cloud Interconnect connectivity at six key locations worldwide – Los Angeles, New York, Amsterdam, London, Hong Kong and Tokyo – and is part of GCX’s Cloud X portfolio.
GCX launched its cloud platform in October 2014, and in March this year, joined UAE-IX in Dubai.
