Marais also takes on the role of chief executive of Liquid Telecom South Africa, and brings with him more than 20 years’ experience in the telecoms industry.
He will be responsible for Liquid Telecom’s global wholesale data business across the service provider market, alongside the company’s operations in South Africa.

Prior to joining Liquid Telecom, Marais served as chief commercial officer at SEACOM, as well as several senior positions at Siemens Group.
