Srivastava’s appointment is said to be effective immediately, and he leaves his position as SVP of internal audit and assurance at Indus Towers for the new role.
Srivastava brings more than 20 years’ experience as a finance professional in both the consumer and telecoms sectors, and has worked in a number of geographies across India, the US and South Asia.
“I look forward to working closely with the management team to capitalise on the company’s impending growth opportunities,” Srivastava said.
Tata Teleservices offers telecoms services under the DoCoMo brand, and in January this year, parent company NTT DoCoMo filed an arbitration request for the sale of its stake in the company.
