The launch includes private, public and hybrid infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud services in the US and Europe, and encompasses high-performance, scalable, virtualised and non-virtualised compute and storage on an audit-ready platform.
The expansion follows Zayo’s acquisition of data centre and cloud firm Latisys in February this year, as well as the additional cloud platforms it gained following the acquisition of AtlantaNAP and Neo Telecoms.
“The rapid adoption of cloud services makes Zayo's expansion into this market a natural extension of our bandwidth infrastructure business,” said Chris Morley, COO and president of cloud and connectivity at Zayo.
“Through acquisition and investment, we have built a set of private and hybrid cloud solutions that are compelling in their own right and even more so when combined with our extensive fibre and data centre facilities.”
