In the past year, 441 million LTE subscriptions having been added globally, marking a 140% year-on-year growth.
LTE subscriptions increased by 113.5 million in Q2 2015, with strong growth in Latin America and Caribbean which has over 22.5 million LTE subscriptions, marking a 324% annual growth.
“ For the first time LTE exceeded 10% share of the worldwide subs total for all mobile technologies. GSA forecasts over 1 billion LTE subscriptions worldwide by the end of 2015," said Alan Hadden, vice president, research, GSA.
