The sale was a condition for Altice to acquire PT Portugal following its €7.4 acquisition of its Portuguese assets.
Altice agreed to sell both companies in 2015 and Vodafone Portugal was said to be have expressed interest in acquiring both with the aim to further expand its fixed-line business in the country.
In 2012, Altice acquired pay TV company Cabovisao from Canada’s Cogeco for €45 million and a year later, agreed to purchase a 95.5% stake in Oni for €83 million.
