Global Capacity expands Ethernet service

Global Capacity has revealed today at Metro Connect 2016 in Miami, US, the expansion of its nationwide Ethernet service.

The Ethernet service utilises existing copper infrastructure to deliver from 1Mbps up to 100Mbps access to customers.

The expansion is said to further strengthen Global Capacity’s standing as the leading Ethernet over Copper (EoC) provider in the US, also proving Asymmetric Ethernet and Ethernet over DS1 services.

“Bandwidth consumption is on the rise, and with our network service expansion, customers can access higher speeds to maintain their competitive edge,” said Jack Lodge, Global Capacity president.

“Global Capacity will continue to expand services and coverage in 2016 to address the demand for reliable, scalable Ethernet access – the service of choice to connect to key destinations including private and public cloud, business applications, internet and data centres.”

Global Capacity has increased the density of its Ethernet services footprint, bringing its services to an additional 230,000 commercial addresses across 58 metro markets in 28 states.
