The cable will be available through the operator’s data centre in Palermo, Sicily, where it will connect to other international cables.
With a design capacity of 24Tbps on 3 fibre pairs, the 20,000km cable system will connect 17 countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Qatar, Oman, UAE, Yemen, Djibouti, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, France and Italy.
