Under the agreement, SferaNET will provide wholesale services over its fibre optic network in Bielsko, Poland. This is said to be the third contract for Kolnet on bitstream access (BSA) with another network. Kolnet claims to build its own FTTH infrastructure in certain locations.
A significant part of BSA lines are clients who have migrated from the operator’s Wifi services, said Monika Kosinska, chairman of Kolnet, adding that the rest consists of previous subscribers of other operators.
The agreement builds on an ongoing cooperation with the two companies in which they mutually leased infrastructure and sold transmission.
