The national colocation and wholesale data centre provider, which has assets in nine US markets, has established its first data centre in Ohio with the addition of the 332,215 sq ft 1625 Rockwell Avenue carrier hotel to its portfolio.
"We look forward to expanding into the Cleveland market with this acquisition," said Josh Simms, founder and CEO of H5 Data Centers. "The acquisition represents the type of high-quality carrier infrastructure and enterprise data centres we endeavour to own, operate and grow."
The Tier III Cleveland colocation facility, which is one of the top interconnection points in the greater Midwest and has significant long haul fibre termination, adds to H5's growing national portfolio of data centres in Ashburn, Atlanta, Charlotte, Denver, Phoenix, San Jose, San Luis Obispo and Seattle.
