Al-Thani joined the company in 2013 as the senior business manager, then in 2014 he was promoted to head of public sales and in 2016 was appointed to sales director of enterprise sales and mega projects. During his time in the role the company’s enterprise and market share experienced substantial growth, as did the company position itself as an ICT and mega projects service provider.
Al-Thani is the holder of a bachelor degree in computer science from the faculty of engineering at the University of Ottawa and prior to working at Vodafone, held various roles in the oil & gas sector in the areas of industrial network/cyber, automation and control system engineering.
