CoreSite – which offers high-performance data centre and interconnection solutions – said the service is expected to be fully operational in early July and will also include direct access to AWS Direct Connect, Alibaba Cloud, and PacketFabric.
The enhanced service is utilising Ciena’s Blue Planet Multi-Doman Service Orchestrator, and will be made available across all eight markets where CoreSite’s operates.
CoreSite serves more than 1,250 enteprises, network operators and cloud providers through its flexible and scalable solutions, all based in eight North American market.

Ciena’s Blue Planet MDSO is an open and vendor-agnostic software solution that allows network operators and enterprises to create, deploy, and automate the end-to-end provisioning of network services spanning the WAN, data centre, and cloud.
CoreSite will use it in its enhanced Open Cloud Exchange platform to enable customers to interconnect to a number of cloud operators through an on-demand platform.
