Doug Brown and Steve Gauthier will both serve as directors of wholesale sales, Everstream said, with the task of leading its effort to grow wholesale sales.
The Cleveland-based company created the new positions "at a time when the trajectory of the business demands such a dedicated effort," it said in an announcement.
Brown has more than 20 years of telecoms experience, having most recently served as an account director for the wholesale and carrier business at Crown Castle Fiber. He has also held positions at Fairpoint Communications and Verizon.
Gauthier is an internal appointment, having joined Everstream as part of its acquisition of the Lynx Network Group, which closed in February, 2017. Gauthier has over 30 years of sales experience and has most recently served as a major account executive looking after enterprise-level sales opportunities on Everstream’s fibre network. Gauthier has also held various sales and account manager positions for TDS Metrocom, First Telecommunications and Telegration.
“Everstream is entering a new chapter in terms of corporate growth and regional expansion, and the wholesale market is a key strategic vertical,” said Bill Major, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Everstream. “As we position the business as the preferred last-mile provider, it is imperative that we have key influencers like Doug and Steve leading the charge.”
