Montreal-based difuze, a content production and distribution player, has selected eStruxture to help meet its increased data traffic and bandwidth requirements.

eStruxture, a pan-Canadian provider of network and cloud-neutral data centre solutions, announced that it was thrilled difuze, the largest provider of French localisation in Canada, had selected the company as its data centre provider.

To meet its growing data and bandwidth requirements, while serving an ever-growing global roster of clients, difuze determined eStruxture’s complete suite of scalable colocation, cloud and network services would be an ideal fit.

“We are uniquely positioned to offer customers expertly designed solutions, with the flexibility, security and performance needed to design an efficient data distribution and content delivery architecture,” said Todd Coleman, president and CEO of eStruxture (pictured).

“We are excited to have difuze take advantage of our colocation and cloud interconnection offerings for its content production and distribution needs, and we look forward to growing alongside the company as its demands for capacity continue to increase.”

eStruxture’s three Montreal data centres, as well as its Vancouver facility, provide access to hundreds of multimedia studios, ensuring that difuze is just a cross-connect away from its current and potential customers.

“When partnering with eStruxture, we immediately appreciated their high level of expertise and flexibility in meeting our custom requirements,” added François Deschamps, president of difuze.

“As a growing company in the audiovisual content industry, we are constantly striving to optimise our content processing and delivery workflow as well as widen our network in order to meet the needs of our local and global clients. With eStruxture’s scalable services, we can do just that in a secure, flexible data centre environment. Thanks to this partnership, we can focus on continuing to provide our customers with the best experience possible in post-production, localisation, versioning, and multi-platform content delivery services.”

Furthermore, eStruxture’s cloud interconnection partners and superior connectivity solutions are an ideal fit for the content production and distribution services industry, providing its customers access to a complete ecosystem of carriers, enterprises, cloud and network providers – all while bypassing the public internet. Thanks to this partnership, difuze can now speed its time-to-market by leveraging the data center provider’s highly-connected and secure facilities, as well as its elastic interconnections to global Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) and all major cloud providers.

2018 has seen eStructure name Annie Corbeil as its senior vice president and chief financial officer, add Beanfield Metroconnect to its list of network ecosystem partners, announce that R2i is increasing its presence across its data centres to meet its growing demand for additional capacity in the Montreal region, and, at the start of the year, acquire Québec-based data centre operator Kolotek from Gaz Métro Plus, further solidifying its leadership position in the Montreal market.
