The MFC network adds unique routes into Canada including a cable landing, the Maritime Express Route from Nova Scotia to Boston, as well as additional diversity to FirstLight's robust network.

In March, FirstLight appointed Len Camara as its new chief information officer (CIO). In his new position, Camara serves as a member of the FirstLight senior executive team and oversees the advancement of the company's information systems and information technology functions.
