The company, based in Kuwait, said the deal will boost its own cloud-based activities that allow customers to connect their offices and data centres to Oracle’s Cloud over Zain’s international MPLS network with dedicated bandwidth options ranging from 10Mbps up to 10Gbps.

Zain, which operates in eight markets across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), said its Zain Cloud Connect is an innovative platform that connects customers and different cloud service providers in a simple and cost-effective way.
