Through the introduction of Google Cloud Batelco strengthens its existing cloud services which includes AWS Direct Connect and Microsoft Express Route. It also boosts the company’s global connectivity solutions.
“As a result of this new offering, customers can be confident that they are utilizing highly secure connections, as traffic passes through a service provider with a dedicated connection, enabling our customers to enjoy a private, secure, and high-performance connection to multiple cloud platforms,” said Adel Al-Daylami (pictured), chief global business officer at Batelco. “Customers are also able to scale their connection capacity to meet their particular requirements, helping them to achieve their business requirements and support their digital transformation.”
Google Cloud interconnect gives users direct physical connections between their on-premise network and Google’s network, enabling the transfer of large amounts of data, resulting in cost efficiency as there is no need to purchase additional bandwidth over the public internet.
In addition, Google Cloud interconnect also include low latency and highly available connections that enable users to reliably transfer data between their on-premise and virtual private cloud networks.
The news comes as the company doubles down on its efforts to expand its cloud connect portfolio to meet the growing demand for digital solutions. As such, the company recently launched Global Zone, a carrier neutral digital business platform based on a highly secured Tier III Data Centre, which helps customers to operate their digital business in a secured environment.
During Capacity Europe 2019, Batelco also renewed its long-standing partnership with GBI. During the meet, the two companies boosted their collaboration by committing to deliver accelerated connectivity between Bahrain and Europe for the customers of both companies.
