Through this collaboration, NewTelco’s customers will have access to IX Reach’s 240+ locations globally, cloud service providers, and its own innovative SDN platform called One Portal. The NCEX service is based on the MEF service definition of a point-to-point Ethernet Private Line (EPL) service or a point-to-point Ethernet Virtual Private Line (EVPL) service.
“Our partnership with NewTelco is very exciting for us as they recognise the potential in bringing a portfolio of quality solutions to their customers and NCEX partners” said Stephen Wilcox, founder at IX Reach. “We gain access to an incredible base of partners providing them with immediate access to their cloud services and remote locations around the world.”9
Additionally, NewTelco and users of its Neutral Carrier Ethernet Exchange (NCEX) service will now be able to form secure, reliable and resilient connections to global destinations and extend private network connections to cloud providers, SaaS services, and other enterprises from any one of NewTelco’s 11 locations.
“We are pleased to welcome IX Reach to our NCEX platform and are delighted that the company has chosen NewTelco to serve its business ambitions. We are sure that our solutions will advance our customers’ business and will enhance their global connectivity possibility,” added Matthias Hartmann, managing director at NewTelco. “NewTelco is aimed at constant upgrading and improvement provided solutions, interconnection possibilities, business development and customer engagement”.
IX Reach’s One Portal brings simplicity to both build and manage dedicated and private connections. Customers have access to AWS, Azure and Google Cloud with over 25 onramps in North America, Europe, and Asia.
Last year, BSO completed the successful integration of IX Reach into its low-latency global infrastructure. The Ethernet network provider broadened its growing wholesale portfolio in May 2019 with the acquisition of IX Reach, a global network service provider.
