Cloud networking provider GTT Communications has named its new chief financial officer following the departure of Mike Sicoli in September, and the interim tenure of Dan Fraser.

He holds an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business and a bachelors degree from Lehigh University, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

“Steven has a distinguished track record leading finance organisations in several mid- to large-size public companies,” stated Rick Calder, GTT President and CEO. “He will add seasoned executive leadership towards the achievement of GTT’s organic revenue growth and operational excellence objectives as we deliver on our purpose, connecting people around the world and to every application in the cloud. With the appointment of Steven, we would like to thank Dan Fraser for his dedicated service as Interim Chief Financial Officer. Dan will continue to serve as Senior Vice President, Finance, and Controller.”

In August, GTT Communications confirmed that Sicoli had “accepted a more senior role with a data center and cloud solutions provider” and that senior vice president, principal accounting officer and global corporate controller Dan Fraser, would hold the fort until a replacement was appointed.

In its most recent financial results, GTT Communications posted growth of 15.9% in revenues year-on-year compared to 2018, reaching $1.7 billion. It also managed to reduce its losses for the year bringing it down to $105.9 million compared to $243,4 million in 2018.

As Capacity reported in February, GTT is planning to sell the former Interoute and Hibernia Express infrastructure it acquired in recent years.
