Arun Bansal, who joined Ericsson in 1995, and the new responsibilities build on those of his current roles as member of the executive team and head of market area Europe and Latin America, with 110 countries under his leadership across both regions.

Ericsson says the dual-EVP strategy will allow it “greater flexibility” for EVP duties and as it continues to build its presence in emerging technologies and new locations, it’s no doubt a case of all hands on deck.
In March Ericsson partnered with Sinch on a new 5G rollout and it has continued to win new 5G contracts across Europe. In April Ericsson won a 10-year contract manage and control Erillisverkot Finland’s mission critical broadband network.
