Now available to customers, Telekom will use ExtremeCloud IQ, a cloud management platform, as part of the company's managed net-based LAN service portfolio.
With ExtremeCloud IQ, Telekom will give customers in more than 20 countries proactive monitoring, reporting of SLA compliance, and other unique metrics via a service that offers security, flexibility, and scalability at a reduced delivery cost.

Specifically, Telekom’s customers can now take advantage of Extreme's unlimited data offering for ExtremeCloud IQ subscribers to greater insights to network activities and performance via a centralised management tool.
As an added benefit, all of Telekom’s existing net-based LAN service (NBLS) customers with a related subscription, will be migrated to ExtremeCloud IQ at no extra cost.

In related news, former Extreme Networks’ chief revenue officer Bob Gault joined Geoverse as its new chief commercial officer, responsible for the sales and marketing activities across Geoverse.
Reporting to Geoverse CEO Rod Nelson, Gault will build up the sales team and the company’s growing stable of partners to identify new opportunities and grow the pipeline.
