Le Dantec succeeds Antoine Fournier, who left the role 30 November. Under Fournier’s leadership Kosc not only launched its operations as a fibre wholesaler but also deploy a national network serving more than 50 operator customers.
Having served at Orange for more than 20 years, during this time Le Dantec held the positions of international mobile network bases synergy manager between 2000-2005, Paris and suburb mobile phone radio network production manager from 2005-2012, public initiative networks pre-sales technical director between 2012-2017, and most recently director of national digital development within the Orange Group's General Secretariat.
"I am excited to be joining an ambitious entrepreneurial adventure such as Kosc, which in 5 years has already set solid milestones. Now, with Altitude Infra's resources, Kosc is ready to accelerate its growth. Moving from a historical integrated operator to a dynamic and human-sized structure in this context is particularly inspiring,” said Le Dantec.
“I am delighted to make my contribution with the Kosc teams, so that each company simply has access to the connectivity solution best suited to its needs. To achieve this, we are relying on a master plan combining the completeness of the infrastructures, the relevance of the product offer and the quality of service."
To this new role, Le Dantec brings an expertise in deployment and strategy of French digital development, as well as knowledge of the ecosystem that will enable Kosc to establish itself as the national B2B fibre wholesaler.
At present Kosc relies on an FTTH network, the operator has plans to build a national fibre-to-the-Office (FTTO) network, with the financial support of Altitude Group, its shareholder since June 2020.
"The Covid-19 health crisis has reinforced the urgency of necessary digitalisation of French companies,” added David Elfassy, chairman of Altitude Infra. “We are convinced that competition in this fibre market will come through infrastructures. This mission of public utility has become the primary focus of Altitude Group's development."
