Sparkle has been selected by the European Global Navigation Satellite System Agency (GSA) to deliver voice services to its offices in France, Netherlands and Spain.

Through a tender process, Sparkle beat out several other operators to win the contract. Under the terms of the agreement, Sparkle will provide Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) services and related dial-in numbers to the aforementioned GSA offices.

Sparkle’s corporate voice solution is an international prepaid voice traffic that features voice traffic encryption. As a full cloud-based solution, it also allows customers to use VoIP services across different offices distributed in multiple countries, with rapid scalability, real-time traffic control through a web console, and easy integration with existing IP PBX platforms and firewalls.

GSA is the agency of the European Union responsible for the operations and service provision of Europe’s satellite navigation systems Galileo and EGNOS. It also works in various areas of security, market development, research and development to the benefit of European citizens.

In related news, January saw Sparkle partner TIM Brasil to implement a customised solution by Vox Technologies to protect the Application to Person (A2P) SMS network from fraudulent routing and illicit bypass attempts.

Through the collaboration, TIM Brasil’s A2P SMS network is protected and monitored by Sparkle through Vox Technologies’ VOX360 anti-fraud platform using "sophisticated data analytics, business intelligence and AI technologies to mitigate and prevent fraudulent activities".
