Box appoints former Google Cloud exec
Box, Inc. (NYSE: BOX) has announced that Sebastien Marotte will be joining the Box Executive team as President of Box Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), effective June 7, 2021.
Over a 30 year career, he has held executive roles at various software companies including Google, Hyperion, and Oracle.
He most recently led Google Cloud's EMEA Channels as Vice President, having previously served as Vice President of Google Cloud EMEA for eight years.

Digital Realty (NYSE: DLR) has achieved "five nines" of uptime across its global data centre platform for the 14th consecutive year.

Google Cloud has revealed its Network Connectivity Centre, a new platform that allows enterprises to simplify complex heterogeneous networks for on-prem and cloud connectivity needs.

Panduit Launches Next Generation CS
Panduit has launched its next-generation fibre connectivity solution with the introduction of CS Connectors to optimise connectivity capabilities in the data centre.
Complex applications including AI, Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL) are driving the requirement to push higher data density to the rack and dense compute technologies need close proximity to optimise workflows, according to the company.
