Leveraging Partner Interconnect, customers can now choose BICS to provide connectivity from their facility to the nearest Google edge point of presence. This new connectivity service delivers end-to-end security, low latency, and real-time autonomy through BICS’ fully automated service portal.
Using BICS’ Cloud Connect, a dedicated multi-cloud connectivity solution, combined with Partner Interconnect, will create reliable, scalable connectivity between enterprises’ on-premises infrastructure and Google Cloud locations in the US, EU and Asia Pacific.
With more than 100 PoPs globally, BICS’ network offers connectivity speeds from 50Mbps to 10Gbps, to Google Cloud. Users of the service also benefit from BICS’ instantaneous Cloud Connectivity Portal, giving them real-time provisioning, flexible billing and customised scalable models.
“We are witnessing an unprecedented acceleration in digitalization projects. Where migration to the cloud may have previously been a long-term objective for many enterprises, this past year has prioritised the need for fast, flexible and secure cloudification of services,” said Johan Wouters, SVP of infrastructure & sourcing at BICS.
“Through our collaboration with Google Cloud, BICS is enabling global enterprises to instantly connect to the cloud, creating new opportunities for companies to rapidly innovate and transform.”
In related news, earlier this month BICS introduces its voice APIs to its portfolio of programmable communications solutions.
The move will allow enterprises to build on their customer experience and customise communications services to suit their individual requirements.
“By introducing programmable APIs, BICS is empowering brands with the control to tailor their customer communications, whether through voice, messaging or cloud numbers services. With the flexibility to scale in line with increasing demands, we are enabling businesses to enhance customer experience, while simultaneously growing their business, ” said Divya Ghai Wakankar, head of digital communications solutions at BICS, at the time.
