CEO Nick Jeffery announced that Shippey (pictured) is now executive VP for business and wholesale of the group.
Jeffery said he “has been promoted from within to lead our B2B and wholesale business unit and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our most senior team”.
Shippey was president of wholesale at Windstream until 2018 and joined Frontier in 2020, firstly as senior VP of wholesale services. Jeffery described him as “another strong and experienced leader” who “joins the Frontier executive committee”.
The business organisation that he will lead in addition to wholesale covers small and medium business as well as enterprise teams, said Jeffrey in a LinkedIn post.
Jeffery himself was CEO of Vodafone UK until earlier this year when he was appointed to be CEO and president of Frontier, as the Connecticut-based company emerged from bankruptcy protection.
