American Broadband announces executive leadership appointments

Rural broadband access provider American Broadband has boosted its executive leadership team with several senior appointments.

Joining the company, DuPont's CEO Christopher Eldredge is taking on the role of CEO of American Broadband while DuPont's Bob O'Keefe has also left his role as SVP and CMO to take on the role of executive vice president and chief marketing officer.

Sprint's former president of wholesale, Jim Patterson, has joined as executive vice president and chief strategy officer while George Mack has been promoted internally to the role of executive vice president and chief operating officer.            

Finally, Jason Nicolay, the MD of Houlihan Lokey's TMT group, is now the senior vice president of corporate development for American Broadband.

Eldredge said: "I am thrilled to take on the role and responsibility of CEO and help guide American Broadband through this next phase of growth.

"We've assembled an impressive leadership team capable of realizing the clear opportunities ahead by investing in our network, operations, and communities and pursuing strategic acquisitions and other growth opportunities in additional rural markets throughout the country. The Company has a strong foundation in its markets in Nebraska, Missouri, Louisiana, Texas, and Alaska from which to build. We have the team in place to make American Broadband the preeminent broadband service provider for rural communities throughout the United States and a company that offers employees even more opportunities for professional development."
