The new unit will start operation from 14 September 2021, said NTT. It has 38,000 employees across 25 countries and a revenue of €3 billion. European operations are mainly mainly in the UK, Italy, Germany and Romania.
NTT said the integration in what it calls the EMEAL region “is a fundamental step toward operating as one NTT Data globally, which aims to simplify and strengthen the organisation, reflect its shared vision and values, as well as enhance greater and more seamless collaboration under a single NTT DATA brand”.
It said the move “will enable NTT Data to further collaborate with other NTT group companies as one NTT and jointly provide clients, communities and people with end-to-end value propositions from business consulting, industry solutions, digital and IT modernisation, business process services, and managed services to edge-to-cloud network fabric”.
Kaz Nishihata, senior executive VP of NTT Data, said: “An integrated EMEAL region means a simpler and stronger organisation and is a fundamental step to becoing one NTT Data and one NTT in order to add more value to clients, communities and people.”
Hoderlein, who joined Everis in Barcelona in 1999, became CEO of Everis Europe in 2015, the year after the group had become part of NTT Data. Everis works in banking, health and technology, according to its website.
