STL – now an independent software vendor partner of Microsoft – said the solution will give telcos the agility they need to build future-ready applications through its digital BSS platform.
By partnering with Microsoft, STL expects to provide telcos access to a cloud-native and comprehensive app development ecosystem, flexible modular microservices and a hybrid cloud management system.
Venkat Krishnan, executive director, global partner solutions, Microsoft India, said: “Bringing the power of the intelligent cloud and the intelligent edge closer to the rapidly evolving needs of the telecommunications industry is helping future-proof organisations streamline their operations and create new business or service models. Powered by Microsoft Azure, STL’s platform gives telcos the agility they need to build next-gen applications.
"STL’s digital BSS portfolio is engineered for innovation at scale and speed. We are confident that STL will help customers build secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions and create intelligent applications.”
The news followed the launch of STL's NetXs, a new-age structured cabling solutions for data centres and enterprises, including customised cable designs in UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair), STP (Shielded Twisted Pair), indoor and outdoor categories.
Commenting on the launch of NetXs, Venkatesh Murthy, COO of communication cabling solutions at STL, said: “NetXs has a simplified architecture that results in reduced network complexity and increased overall deployment rate, resulting in seamless user experience. Its unique solution design offers robust and scalable cabling infrastructure for service providers, data centres and enterprises. This suite of cables will enable high-speed networks to support emerging use cases like automation, smart homes, IP-based video surveillance, intelligent transportation and more. “
