The agreement builds on an existing relationship and will help Cloudreach expand within North America and Europe, including into new territories Canada, Poland, Spain and the Nordics.
Cloudreach will also further develop its SMART Migration and SMART Modernization services to widen its customers' access to AWS services through improved automation.
Cloudreach CEO Brooks Borcherding said: “We’re entering this new phase of growth focused on industry-best practices and expertise. For our customers this will mean adopting the AWS cloud more efficiently and with greater confidence, achieving a faster time to value.”
Doug Yeum, head of worldwide channels and alliances at AWS, added: “We are building upon the relationship with our AWS Premier Partner Cloudreach. This collaboration means AWS can bring the highest level of cloud native expertise to an even wider audience with Cloudreach, helping to accelerate the pace of global cloud adoption.”
Cloudreach is also establishing a Talent Academy to train “hundreds of diverse and promising candidates” to “become the next generation of cloud professionals”.
For entry into the programme, Cloudreach will look for candidates with a “passion for building their career in cloud”, it said, even if they do not have a technical background, and fast-track their technical development.
In a development welcomed by AWS, Cloudreach says it expects hundreds of candidates to become AWS-certified and get the hands-on experience to become cloud consultants, engineers, architects and developers.
