The acquired 37 acre campus features a 6MW data centre and supporting facilities totalling 190,000 sq ft, with Novva also securing an anchor tenant as part of the deal.
Novva says it will now expand the campus to 30MW, with an additional 250,000 sq ft, and invest over $200 million in the process.
It also plans to shift to 100% renewable energy and waterless cooling at the site. The company is currently building the largest data centre campus in Utah, set to open this month.

“This acquired facility will be a great addition to our portfolio and we look forward to further growth in these markets.”
Swenson is the former CEO of C7 Data Centers, which was acquired by Databank in 2017.
Novva's Utah campus and global headquarters is located in Salt Lake City and will boast 1.5 million sq ft of data centre space and 180MW of capacity when fully built out. It features a waterless cooling system, renewable energy and drone and robot dog facility monitoring.
Novva is hosting a ribbon cutting event for Salt Lake City on 21 September.
