Andrew Edison has been named as executive vice president (EVP) of sales, marketing and customer relationship management, while Mark Beeden has been appointed chief of staff to the CEO.
“These are key appointments for Colt, and means our Executive Leadership Team is now complete," said Keri Gilder, CEO of Colt.
"Andrew and Mark will play a critical role in supporting the business, as well as individuals and teams, as we deliver our DNA strategy and build the first and only truly modern telco.”
In his new role, Edison will assume responsibility for driving Colt’s commercial strategy and leading its global teams across sales, presales, marketing, and customer relationship management.
In addition, he will work closely with the wider organisation to ensure Colt delivers on its own connectivity and transformation goals.
Edison joined the company 2018 serving as Colt’s vice president of global enterprise. Prior to this, he held a range of executive positions at telecoms companies across EMEA and the US.
“Recent times have shown the importance and power of reliable and agile connectivity, and I look forward to working with our team to leverage Colt’s extensive network, skills and capabilities to help our customers transform and meet sustainability goals,” said Edison.
Beeden will start as chief of staff to the CEO on 1 October. In this role, he will support the development of Colt’s business-wide digital and customer experience strategy and work closely with the CEO and other members of the ELT on a range of projects and initiatives.
He joined the company in 2012, as chief marketing officer and most recently served as vice president of customer experience and service management. Prior to this, Beeden held a range of senior positions across the financial services, logistics, FMCG and telecoms sectors.
“It’s an exciting time to become part of Colt’s leadership team as we build on the foundations of inclusivity, sustainability, technology and service to create the next chapter in Colt’s proud history,” added Beeden.
