Scan Business – which provisions and manages NVIDIA based technologies and created the Scan AI ecosystem – will work with DGX-Ready data centre provider Kao Data to allow organisations to acquire, install, power and maintain the latest high-density NVIDIA DGX and GPU accelerated hardware.
Their work will deliver technologies and high-performance connectivity solutions for the financial services, life sciences and pharmaceuticals sectors.

Marnie Sutton, director of enterprise GPU at Scan Computing ,commented: “This new partnership with Kao Data builds on our established credentials in HPC and AI to deliver supported hardware solutions, from across our ecosystem, in a secure and NVIDIA-certified data centre environment.”
Kao Data confirmed its NVIDIA DGX-Ready Data Center status in May and in July it committed to ditch diesel at its facilities as part of its net zero by 2030 target.
Supporting further developments in advanced computing and sustainability, in October New Zealand's Infratil – which owns CDC Data Centres in Australia – took a stake in Kao Data.
Investing "£120-£130 million", Kao Data said the funds will enable it "to deliver multi-site services for its clients and expand potential capacity to circa 55MW, while delivering long-term trusted operations for clients' mission-critical infrastructure”.
