Khazna said the potential capacity for first project is 21.5MW, while the second is 31.5MW. The two new data centres are part of a deal with Dubai Internet City, a major regional hub for technology companies and talent.

Khazna said projects built using its data centre pods allow for the "rapid scaling of operations when required, which offers partners long-term growth benefits, while businesses involved in 5G, smart city projects and cloud computing can also leverage Khazna’s technology".
The new facilities will take Khazna's total portfolio to 14 data centres, and the company said it is now the UAE’s largest data centre provider.
Highlighting the UAE's inclusion in the IMF's top 10 most competitive world economies, Ammar Al Malik, MD of Dubai Internet City, said: "I believe that building data centres and enhancing the overall technological infrastructure play a key role in providing an investment friendly environment."
