The appointment is effective immediately and comes following the resignation of Pietro Labriola who has taken up the position of group CEO
Labriola was appointed as general manager of TIM on November 26 last year, and will take on the role of its new CEO following the departure of Luigi Gubitosi. and general manager of TIM Group.
Labriola became the fourth permanent CEO appointed by TIM Group in the last five years.
Griselli has over 20 years of experience in the telecoms industry and has held senior positions in South America, holding the role of vice president of TIMwe – a global provider of mobile engagement for telecom operators. He has also previously served as managing director of the consulting firm Value Partners.
TIM Brasil also revealed that Griselli would be retaining his position as chief revenue officer for the company, a role he has held since July, 2019.
Over in Italy, TIM Group has appointed Claudio Ongaro as head of the chief strategy and business development office, reporting to new CEO Pietro Labriola.
