In collaboration with key local industry executives, this expansion marks BAI Italia's first European operation outside of the UK and Ireland.

Leading its BAI new Italian operation is industry veteran Luca Luciani who will servce as CEO of CEO of BAI Italia. Luciani enters the role with over 20 years' of business experience across telecoms, energy, consumer goods and management consulting inlcuding several senior executive roles at Telecom Italia where he served as former CEO of TIM Brazil.
Joining Luciani are other notable powerhouse executives including Antonino Ruggiero, Riccardo Jelmini, Riccardo D'Angelo and Enrico Lanzavecchia.

The new business will focus on delivering the low latency and unlimited capacity neutral host networks needed in dense urban environments. It will also deploy solutions including 5G small cells to densify networks in urban environments, private networks for enterprises and next-gen Distributed antenna system networks for large public venues and stadiums.

2021 saw BAI acquire Mobilitie, US telecoms infrastructure company, increasing the company's reach across North America.
