These investment plans give NTT the option of more than doubling its capacity to more than 120MW in the London market, said the company. All UK data centres will be operating on 100% renewable energy.

NTT’s London data centres now deliver more than 53MW of operational IT capacity, said the company.
NTT’s London hub connects into NTT’s Global Data Center Interconnect (GDCI), delivering a cross-regional data centre network and private secure connection to major cloud service providers.
The Hemel Hempstead site, north of London, opened in December 2021, delivering half its full capacity in phase 1, and adding 9,600m² of IT space and 24MW IT load when fully built out.
The Dagenham data centre, on the edge of London, but close to the Docklands office centres, opened in 2020. Between them, NTT’s London data centres now deliver more than 53MW of operational IT capacity, but investment plans give the company the option of more than doubling its capacity to more than 120MW.
Last November NTT Ltd set out how it will achieve net zero emissions by 2040. The net zero emissions target applies to all operations across the group and its subsidiaries by 2030 and will encompass the wider value chain by 2040.
