"Huawei promotes sustainable industry development with innovative solutions and digital and intelligent technologies," said Phillip Gan, senior vice president, ICT infrastructure managing board chief of office at Huawei. "We have witnessed the three development stages of the Internet, each spanning around two decades: from the PC Internet to the mobile Internet, and now to the AI Internet."
With the development of AI, the opportunity to seize the intelligent era has become a new challenge. York Yue, vice president of Huawei and president of its ISP business unit, offered three suggestions:
Improve end-user experience by providing fast and stable broadband connectivity.
Enhance system resilience and ensure availability to improve the user experience of intelligent services for a higher value than the cost.
Embrace AI and build intelligent media to boost content production.
In the era of intelligence, how to improve the service capability and level of the internet industry has become the core concern of users. Huang Dachuan, CTO of the ICT marketing and solution sales department, shared his latest thoughts at the Summit: “Resilience is a systematic project. Huawei provides integrated cross-domain capabilities to help ISPs and Internet customers build resilient ICT infrastructure and achieve business resilience”.
Digital and intelligent media, improving new media productivity
As media content and distribution methods become increasingly diversified, intelligence has become a crucial strategic direction for the transformation of the media industry. During the Summit, Huawei, in collaboration with Shanghai Media Group (SMG) and partners, unveiled the Intelligent Media Solution.
Chen Miao, director of consulting and solution verification and service, ISP business unit at Huawei, highlighted that ultra-HD video, media convergence platforms, and innovations in Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) are the direction of intelligent media transformation. Stable, efficient, and reliable digital platforms are required to support the agile operation of various services. Based on the integrated architecture of computing, storage, and network, Huawei Intelligent Media Solution builds intelligent capabilities for the media industry, comprehensively improving content production efficiency and enabling new forms of productivity in the AI era.
Chen Sijie, vice president of SMG, explained that the company has extensive media application scenarios and technical capabilities. They aim to collaborate with Huawei in the fields of ultra-HD, media convergence, and AIGC to demonstrate a new pattern in comprehensive audiovisual media development and set a Shanghai model for China's modern media industry.
